Recycling Eco-Aquarium - Turning wastewater into life

Inside Da Nang International Airport, a small fish pond quietly brings a sense of calm to the terminal, offering passengers a gentle pause during their journey.

The water in the pond comes from wastewater generated by daily airport operations. Instead of being discharged, it is collected and treated through a green filtration system using hollow fiber membrane technology, allowing the water to reach a level clean enough for fish to live safely.

After circulating through the pond, the water returns to a closed-loop system, continuing to support terminal landscaping, cleaning activities, and air-conditioning operations - completing a sustainable cycle where nothing is wasted at Da Nang International Airport.
